The Saarbrücker Personenschiffahrt offers roundtrips and various excursions to France. The company also offers special outings on certain dates, like moonlight, brunch or musical trips. On-board catering available.

Houseboats in Saarbrücken Osthafen

There is a charter base for houseboats in Saarbrücken Osthafen (East docks). Go on a cruise along the Saar, down the Saar-Coal-Canal, the Rhine-Marne-Canal, the Moselle and the Rhine, or on the “Sauerkraut tour”, a short trip to Alsace (France).

Osthafen (East Docks)

This is the Saar Motorboat Club’s jetty (Saar-km 90.13 rb). Floating jetty complex with guest moorings for boats of up to 15 metres length. Water and electricity connections available as well as a floating club house with on-board WC and showers.

Public Moorings

In Saarbrücken you will find the following moorings; mooring time 24 hours:
 - at the Saarbrücken tax office (Saar-km 87.35 to 87.56 rb)*
 - at the Staden complex (Saar-km 87.88 to 88.4 rb) *

Moorings Völklingen:
 - Passenger ship (Saar-km 74.97-75.10 – on the left bank).
 - Sport and houseboat max. 3 days (2 places, 11.4-20-2.2)
The use of the landing stage needs the previous approval of the city of Völklingen.
